ABOUT ME

My name is Kim Janna. I was born in Shenanigan, Quebec. I went to school in Montreal and eventually moved to Vancouver (for love). That REALLY didn't work out and I was going to move back to Montreal but I met another love here… Roller derby!

Career-wise I  worked in banking for 11 years (started as a teller and left as a branch manager). My love for coaching was born in banking as I was known to spend extra time with each client to really dig deep and help them achieve their goals.

I've been life coaching for seven years and it brings me so much joy to lead with a mindful approach and a zero fucks mindset.

    Talking about open, queer relationships with Kim has been really helpful in a way that I haven't been able to find with anyone else. Because of her personal experience, knowledge in this area, and her neutral and grounded approach - I feel the feedback I get is always genuine and real rather than feeling she is telling me only what she thinks I want to hear. I always leave sessions feeling heard, understood, validated, grounded in reality, and left with some tools and ideas to tackle issues I'm facing. Grateful for her perspective and wisdom!

    Kim is one of those rare humans where I truly believe she is never judging you. And I know it’s not just because it’s her job, because I’ve always felt that way from the day I met her during our entire friendship. She’s compassionate and empathetic and shares so much great wisdom but also can be objective and be that outside opinion that you need! She is professional while also making you feel at ease, I truly got so much out of my sessions with her and can’t wait to make more in the future. I was in one of the darkest places when we started, and she really helped me see a different perspective to something I was dealing with and pulled me out of that depressive state. Thanks Kim❤️
